Make-up - Every bride wants to look and feel her best on the day and so I did my homework when it came to make-up and hair. For make-up I chose the brilliantly talented Edwina Kelly who was based in Dublin but travelled to Killarney the night before our big day. She only charged us her train fare to do so too!! I had eight people getting their make-up done between bridesmaids, mothers and good friends so Edwina bought along her friend and colleague Emma and they both did an amazing job. I’m very picky (as are my friends) when it comes to make-up and we were all thrilled with the results. My make-up stayed on all night and day (it even survived the sweating on the dance floor) without looking caked or trowelled on. I also have to say, that Edwina and Emma were both an absolute pleasure to have around on the day – so lovely, calm and easy to talk to. Since my wedding in October a number of my friends have already booked Edwina to do their make-up for balls and parties – she’s that good!
